review

I finally have read the 2nd book in how to date a douchebag series, and now I understand why everyoneeeee loves Zeke so much… because now I do too!!!!

Zeke Daniels is a major asshole, he knows it and doesn’t care. He’s quick witted, but not in a funny cute, quirky way. More of he’s a dick who needs a good ass whooping kind of way….

So when he meets the super shy Violet, he’s rude and cruel to her at first, but he grows a soft spot for her which makes his douchebag attitude a little easier to deal with by seeing him slowly open up his heart to a feeling other than anger. I loved both of these characters, especially both of their character developments.

I loved that Violet became comfortable enough to call Zeke out on his shit, even if she did it in a nice way. I loved this book, and these characters. I understand why everyone is so obsessed with Zeke, and it’s because he was a literal douche who had that little bit of softness just beneath the surface. Waiting for someone to bring it out in him. This book was funny, but had some emotion to it too. I absolutely loved it and this series so far!

My Rating: 5/5 Stars

Zeke Daniels isn’t just a douchebag; he’s an a**hole.

A total and complete jerk, Zeke keeps people at a distance. He has no interest in relationships—most a**holes don’t.

Dating?
Being part of a couple? Nope. Not for him.

He’s never given any thought to what he wants in a girlfriend, because he’s never had any intention of having one. Shit, he barely has a relationship with his family, and they’re related; his own friends don’t even like him.

So why does he keep thinking about Violet DeLuca?
Sweet, quiet Violet—his opposite in every sense of the word.
The light to his dark, even her damn name sounds like rays of sunshine and happiness and shit.

And that pisses him off, too.
