R.S Grey is one of those authors who writes something epic each time she puts out a book. Now I realize I’m a little late to this book, but I’ve only read a few other of her stories before and loved all of them. So far this book is my 4th one by her.

“I’d tell myself to focus on another student and their dog, yet my attention would wander right back to her”

The Foxe and The Hound is a cute enemies to lovers story that will surely make you laugh while reading. There were times where I couldn’t stop smiling, or someone in my family caught me cracking up by myself.

giphy.gif Madeline is 27 years old with her life seemingly a mess. She’s on probation from her job, late for her rent, has a beat up car, and a puppy that is more like a grown bear. Madeline’s small bear named Mouse comes to maul a gorgeous man on the side of the street one day after getting loose from their walk. Madeline is horrified until she see how hot he is of course in his now muddy suit.

“It takes all about three seconds to confirm that he’s the best-looking man I’ve ever seen in real life, and he’s currently telling me to get my dog under control”

Adam Foxe has just moved to Hamilton, Texas after a break up with his long-term fiance. He’s walking down the street when he is tackled by Mouse and ruins his suit. Even though he cannot deny Madeline’s beauty, he still can’t help but rant at her. Both of them turn their separate ways.

“You think she’s sexy, that’s why you care about her skinned knees”

That is until Madeline takes Mouse for his routine vet visit. And Mouse’s new Doc is hot Adam….

Both are shocked to see each other, and no matter how much they goof around they both find ways to be in each others lives. A fake date to a bbq, dog training classes, and trying to sell a house. Madeline and Adam both want space but can’t stop bumping into each other. Welcome to Hamilton, where everyone knows everyone.

“I stare at the wall where he just had me pinned. There might as well be a while chalk outline etched there. After all, it’s a crime scene. Theft in the first degree”

This book was so fun to read, I loved both characters especially Madeline. She was genuine and smart, and her inner thoughts sincerely speak to me haha!! Adam is a hot vet, who loved animals, can cook, and is a family guy. What more can I say? He’s a book god. The Fox and the Hound will be one of those books I can go back to and read whenever I’m in a rut. I seriously enjoyed this book and these characters. It was an awesome reading experience! ❤

When your life is a hot mess at twenty, it’s cute. At twenty-seven… well, not so much. It’s just that my lofty dreams—making it as a real estate agent, paying rent on time, showering daily—have stayed just that: dreams. Oh, and love? I’ve decided love might be a little ambitious for me at the moment. Instead, I’ve settled for the two guys who will never leave me: Ben & Jerry. That is until Dr. Adam Foxe takes up residence as the town’s new vet. With his strong jaw, easy confidence, and form-fitting scrubs, it’s not long before every housewife in Hamilton is dragging neglected tomcats in for weekly checkups.Like everyone else, I’m intrigued. Even after I spoil my chance at a good first impression, he still offers me a proposition I can’t refuse: play his girlfriend at a family function and he’ll hire me as his real estate agent. Welcome to love in the 21st century. It’s too bad I underestimated Adam’s irresistible charm and the undeniable attraction that burns between us. The day he pins me to the wall and silences me with a kiss, the line between reality and ruse begins to blur. Every teasing touch brings me to my knees. Every kiss promises more. It looks like my hot mess of a life is about to get a little hotter.
