Synopsis:
I’m banished to Vermont for a scandal that wasn’t my fault, and broke because my famous father cut me off. And did I mention my roommate stole my boyfriend? Yeah, I’m loving my Moo U experience.
Now I need a job, because this gel manicure won’t upkeep itself. The only available option is the last one I’d ever want–a job as the hockey team’s equipment manager. My plan is to do the bare minimum, get paid, and find my way back into my father’s good graces.
I will not get involved with a hockey player, no matter how hot. They’re cocky. And obnoxious. I know their type, and I’m not willing to risk getting hurt again. Until Lex Vonne glides into my life looking like sin on a stick.
He thinks I’m a spoiled brat.
I think he’s using me to get ahead.
But the fire I feel when we’re together is like a slapshot to my heart…

Review:
Rebecca’s Sports romance are always a favorite of mine. She knows exactly how to pack in some sports knowledge, steam, and funny banter.
Slapshot is no different.
Kaitlyn is new to Moo U but has a strong love/hate relationship with hockey thanks to her superstar dad. Hard for her since Moo U is big on hockey. She’s been cut off by daddy and has to prove herself with grades and working. So, she picks up a job as an equipment manager much to her disapproval. But it’s the only one available so she sucks it up
Lex is a rookie hockey player who gets the hots for Kaitlyn. He finds himself pushing her to trust him and lower her guard around him. His sweetness and their banter was hard to resist even for Kaitlyn.
Their chemistry was insane, and I loved seeing these two interact. Lex was finally someone who put Kaitlyn first and I enjoyed watching her open up to her issues. They were definitely an interesting pair and exactly what each other needed. I love Rebecca’s writing and was sucked in immediately with this one. The characters had great chemistry om the start and I love the side characters she adds into her books too. They truly make the entire story work amazing.
