Giselle was so different than how she was Portrayed in Not my Romeo. She’s thoughtful, funny, and crazy smart. She’s working towards her doctorate as a Physicist by day and a Sci-Fi romance author by night
She’s quirky and cute but incredibly reserved when it comes to relationships.
Except with Devon.
He makes her crazy and she does the same to him. They’re so drawn to each other but the worlds they come from are different from eachother
When an unexpected incident throws them into each other lives things get heated fast. Promising to keep Giselle safe, Devon finds himself struggling with his own intentions
& Giselle? She’s doing everything to make it harder for him to stay away.
These two were incredible!! I loved the storyline, especially since roommates is one of my favorite tropes
But also Because Giselle was adorable. I loved her free spirit that was dying to get out and her quirky stories. It’s not often you see a heroin in a STEM career so I loved that Ilsa threw that in. Totally gave me Sheldon from Big Bang Theory Vibes
Devon was a freaking GOD. Sexy, romantic in the little ways, so caring, ugh I think he might be winning over Jack now
This book was electric in regards to chemist and angst. It was also sweet and so so funny. With each book I read Ilsa is becoming a new favorite author of mine.
