synopsis 2.0

I’ve been in love with her for two years.

The first time around I screwed things up. I hesitated and the moment was gone.

I passed when I shouldn’t have.

Not a total loss. I gained a best friend instead of whatever we might have been.

Sydney is hands down the best thing that’s ever happened to me, and I’ll do anything to keep her in my life. Even bury my feelings deep inside.

But one hot summer together at the lake filled with lots of teeny-tiny bikinis and I’m ready to risk it all for a second chance.

It’s time to take my shot.

Friends to lovers, second chance, a lake house and a couple that just oozes chemistry

Tanner and Sydney are best friends and just that. No one around them can understand how they keep things so platonic. Things have been easy in their friendship until a summer at Tanners lake house has their true feelings filtering up from where they’ve buried them.

One night, two years ago, an incredible kiss.
Tanner and Sydney can’t stop thinking about where things would be if they hadn’t accidentally friend zoned each other.

Maybe the lake house is their chance to find out?
With drinks, friends, and boating under the stars the lines of their friendship Fade.
Tanner and Sydney have to decide whether they’re ready to cross that invisible line or pass on the opportunity and just stay friends

I loved the storyline for this book. Tanner and Sydney’s friendship built such a strong base for the romance. I loved how easy going they were together and the chemistry, angst, sexual tension it all just clicked perfectly. They both get each other in ways other people don’t and that made them such a special couple. I couldn’t get enough of their flirty banter and simple but sweet moments.

Another great book added to the smart jocks series!
