He was the sun, and she was the moon.
A love like theirs was never destined to last.

Chasing the Moon, an all-new intense and consuming romance from author S.M. Soto is available now!

Chasing the Moon by S.M. Soto

A modern-day retelling of the Greek Myth of Selene and Endymion.

He was the sun, and she was the moon. A love like theirs was never destined to last.

Selene Drake has always been the girl that blends into the background.
The wallflower.
Sweet as can be.
It never bothered her, she preferred slinking into the shadows.

When she first laid eyes on Endymion Black, she fell irrevocably in love with him.
The bad boy.
Handsome as ever.

For years, she pined after the unattainable boy who had somehow burrowed his way into her heart.

Until everything changed.

One unforgettable night bridled with passion and forbidden lust destroyed her naïve heart and reshaped her innocent soul. It sent her fleeing from the only town she’d ever truly known.

Five years later, Selene is back in Dunsmuir and the boy she spent years loving in silence, has now turned into a man. A man with his sights set on her. Somehow, the tables have turned, and this time around, he’s the one doing the chasing, determined to claim her heart as his. Only, he doesn’t realize, she has a secret of her own.

One with the potential to change their lives forever.

Chasing the Moon is a full-length standalone romance.

CTM sucks you in with its alluring and enchanting retelling of Selene and Endymion that will capture your heart with its story and characters!

A modern day retelling, CTM follows moon obsessed Selene Drake as she navigates her life all the while having a crush on the new kid in town Endymion Black (End). The wallflower type, Selene sees everything but is never seen herself. She pines after End in a teenage love affair, awaiting the day he’ll finally “see” her. A story spanning years, their fate is destined and they just need to follow the stars and their hearts.

I loved how gentle Selene’s soul was. She didn’t have a mean bone in her body, and though she made mistakes along the way I felt her guilt and need to make it right. She was such a genuine character and my heart broke for her often during this book.

End was literally sex on a stick. The way that Selene describes him he is epic book boyfriend material and I could totally understand her infatuation with him. They had so much chemistry even during basic conversation. Thought End was often cold or withdrawn in the beginning, we get to see more life to him later on. He was a compelling character and hard not to adore along with Selene.

I haven’t read an SM Soto book before so I wasn’t expecting the level of emotion in this, but it’s what made this book all the more special. SM Soto includes so many fine details into both the story and her characters. I loved getting to know and understand Selene’s love for the moon, her wanting a metaphysical store (which is sooo me) and her pure romantic heart. This story was so captivating I couldn’t put it down

Her and End are going down as an epic love tale for me and a top 2020 read

Rating: 5/5 Stars
