Review & New Release: Loath Thy Neighbor by Teagan Hunter (Roommate Romps #1)

Release Date: September 17

Don’t fall for your enemy…especially when he’s your new roomate.

Dean Evans is the worst.
Not only does the devil in disguise steal my pie on a regular basis, he also lives in the apartment right. Next. Door.
I see him all the time. At the mailboxes. In the elevator.
Every single morning.
It’s exhausting because he’s exhausting.

Now, after setting his apartment on fire, he’s my roommate…and he’s the worst at that too.

I don’t know what possessed me to let him stay with me. Pity, perhaps?
I do know that I won’t be falling for his charm.
Or that panty-dropping smirk.
His quick wit.
That body he works so hard for.

Nope. Not falling for any of it…least of all him.

There might be a fine line between love and hate, but I know exactly where I stand.Buy Links:

A hilarious, feel good romance, Teagan Hunter gives us banter and wit with her new rom com Loath Thy Neighbor.

River and Dean are apartment enemies, pie enemies and everything in between. They have nothing in common, can’t get along, and disagree on what is “loud” for music. Even so there is an undeniable attraction between them that heats up with each encounter.

When a freak accident lands Dean possibly homeless, River makes the rash decision to give him a room. It’s sudden and unexpected but maybe that’s just what these two need.

With the attraction going on between them and plenty of arguments, there’s only two options left between for these two: kill each other or hate sex it out of their systems.

River and Dean had tons of chemistry together, even with all the banter and “I hate you’s”. Dean was sweet and sincere. He has a heart full of gold. While River was a bit of an enigma. She’s a full blown workaholic and perfectionist. Even so she had a deep caring side to her but has trouble opening it up. She was very whiney at times but I grew to love her. Together these two constantly challenged each other forcing them to grow both as a couple and independently.

I haven’t read much of Teagans books, but her writing is witty and unique. She gives each character their own voice and charm it’s hard not to adore them. Loath Thy neighbor was no different and I’m so excited for the next book!

4.5/ 5 stars

I’m a Missouri-raised gal, but currently live in North Carolina with my US Marine husband and 9-year-old dog. I spend my days begging him for a cat, and I survive off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. When I’m not writing, you can find me binge-watching various TV shows, especially Supernatural and One Tree Hill. I like cold weather, buy more paperbacks than I’ll ever read, and I never say no to brownies.

Writing is my passion, and this is just the beginning of my journey.
