Review: More of You by A.L. Jackson

A second-chance, small town, stand-alone romance in A.L. Jackson’s Confessions of the Heart Series.

SERIES: A Confessions of the Heart Stand-Alone Novel
RELEASE DATE: September 10th, 2018
My daddy warned me never to fall for a boy like Jace Jacobs . . .
The second I saw him walk through the door, I knew he was trouble.
A gorgeous rebel with a bad attitude and a huge chip on his shoulder.
My heart warned me. I didn’t listen. I saw something protective and good beneath the fierce, tough exterior.
I fell hard and fast.
He promised we’d be together forever, and then left me with a broken heart.
Now, ten years later, Jace Jacobs is standing at my door.
Sexier than he’s ever been.
Provocative and commanding.
Successful and powerful.
The man I always knew he would become.
But I promised myself I’d never lose my heart to him again.
Even time couldn’t dim our chemistry. One glance of his intense eyes, and I become weak. One
brush of his hand, and he brings me to my knees.
Little do I know, Jace holds the key to everything I’ve lost and everything that threatens my future.
Now he will either save me, or he will break me all over again . . .
More of You – a Confessions of the Heart second-chance, stand-alone romance

More of you is a heart wrenching second chance romance. 2 soulmates separated by time and circumstance, Faith and Jace fall back into each other’s lives after a turn of events that leave Faith a single mom & widow. That’s not all for Faith, as someone lurks in the shadows leaving her threats about something she has no idea about.

Jace comes in to save the day when he hears about Faith. Staying away all of these years was heartbreaking for him but he has a chance to make up for his past mistakes to Faith by protecting her and her daughter in anyway possible. He swears he’ll do anything in his power to keep them safe even from people closest to them.

The book is riveting and the mystery of who this person is keeps you on your toes ( though you might not be that shocked in the end). It’s a powerful love story like no other and

I can shamefully say it’s been a few years since I’ve read one of A.L Jackson’s books, but with reading More of You I can’t believe it took me this long to pick something up of hers again. Her writing is soul shattering, it touches your mind and heart. Her style is unique as are her characters like poetry, I can honestly say this was one of my favorite books by her. It was a perfect 5 Star read and I highly recommend that everyone read this baby !
