They’re both fighting their own demons on top of that which only adds to complicate their relationship even further.
Maya Hughes knows how to write an intense, emotional and hot romance novel let me tell you. Heath is the gorgeous relaxed plant guy we’ve seen in the past books, but don’t let that fool you. He’s intense and passionate about all things, and Kara brings out that passion more than anything. Even though she’s been the reserved study girl, Heaths energy makes Kara throw caution to the wind and do things she usually isn’t brave enough to do. They’re a match made in heaven and Maya wrote them AMAZINGLY!!!
After some serious twists thrown into the book I wanted to freak out and all I could think is “but what? How & why!?” It makes for an emotional ride, and after getting glimpses of Liv & Ford , and Emmet with Avery I am in desperate need of more Rittenhouse Kings!!
