Chasing Him is the next Book in the bishop brothers series. You would think that after reading about 2 of the bishop brothers that my heart would have had enough of cowboys…. NOT! John is by far my favorite of the boys, and let me explain why

John is the more reserved and level-headed of the twins. Seen in the previous books as the quiet one, we finally get to see into his mind and his story. John is stubborn and always tries to do the right thing even if it’s at a cost to himself. Especially when it comes the beautiful baby girl left on his door step. John will do any and everything to get her what she needs. Even if that means accepting help he desperately needs from a nanny. Trust me he sure isn’t happy about it one bit. But he’s exhausted and could use the help no matter how much he denies it. His POV’s I thought were so emotional because he is just living with all the this guilt while still trying to do right by his daughter and family. I wanted to hug him so bad, he has such a good heart but refuses to let anyone in. He knows he wants Mila, but he so damn clueless about it, it’s almost ironic.

Mila our fresh new face, is out of college with a love for children. Our girl decides to take a trip to Texas and visit her grandparents, while there she unexpectedly finds herself as the nanny to John Bishops baby girl. Pulled in by the bishop family and their addictive ways. Mila finds herself wanting John even though in his mind she’s off-limits. They can’t help but feel the pull to each other and this baby. Getting naughty with the boss is a no go, but You know that they say, the things you can’t have are what you want most… Mila was sweet but had balls to her which I loved. She didn’t take any of John shit, and she even put Jackson in his place which was hilarious. She fit in so perfect with the family it was hard to believe she was a new character to the series. She is a tough one who lives with her own regrets and tries to pull John from the sinking emotional ship he has himself on so he won’t live with anymore either.

This book was a MAJOR SLOW BURN, BUT IT BURNED SO GOOOOD!!!! I was so excited to finally get Johns Book in my hands, since I’ve been dying to know more about him through each Book and how his brain ticks. Well I was not disappointed. The bishop brother series is one that will go on record as the most addictive and emotional series I’ve read in a long time. Each book shocks and amazes me each time how easily I’m sucked into it. 5 Stars to John and his hot single dad-ness!!

My rating: 5 Stars

Chasing Him is a full-length 110k+ words standalone novel that’s filled with angst, sexual tension, and plenty of forbidden temptation! Let Kennedy Fox take you to the South for a hot, captivating adventure that’ll surely leave your Kindles on fire!

John Bishop isn’t your typical single dad.
Reserved, impatient, and utterly clueless.

Running the family’s bed and breakfast has many perks. Working long hours, picking up after the guests, and hearing couples going at it all night long aren’t any of them. Hooking up with girls who come to the ranch for horseback riding lessons? Best perk of them all.

That is until a baby shows up at his doorstep with a note claiming it’s his. Growing up on a ranch was anything but easy, but raising a newborn is proving to be the hardest task he’ll ever tackle. Leaving the bachelor life behind, his only priority is to hire a nanny who can teach him a thing or two about parenting — except he doesn’t anticipate her being gorgeous and quirky with an unhealthy football obsession.

Mila Carmichael has many talents — making balloon animals, creating origami art, and remaining in the friend zone. Often seen as one of the guys, she’s struck out more times than a rookie baseball player.

Seeking a new adventure, she flies to Texas to visit family and is offered a position she can’t refuse. Helping out a new dad should come easy to her, considering her past experience, but what she doesn’t anticipate is him being an attractive Southern temptation.

But that’s only the beginning.

While growing close to his family and falling madly in love with the baby girl who’s stealing their hearts, things are bound to get complicated. Everyone knows not to mix business with pleasure. That means no late movie nights, no stolen glances, and definitely no kissing behind closed doors. Too bad the universe has other plans — one that’ll threaten taking away the main thing that binds them together.
